Although I couldn’t make an entire blog post about March month in review, I’m happy to combine it together with April;
New assignment Agile Quality Coach
I started a new assignment as an Agile Quality Coach in the beginning of march, glad that I got this opportunity while being consultant. It’s a role that I wanted to develop in my career during the last couple of years. And at the same time, I challenged myself to make a talk and a worksop about it in the coming months to combine theory and practice.
LudiNord Pro: Game Festival
I had the chance to attend to my first game festival, I run a workshop with the game 1001 Tests in the morning, we had participants from different background as PO, Scrum Master, Testers …
My second participation in this festival was pitching our “TMAP Quality Improvement Game” with short dry runs to participants at out company booth.
That gamified reflection tool help teams be aware of their problems that could impact quality of products & processes and people and provide an easy and funny way to come up with the right metrics to the real problems in regards with the quality improvements actions that could be a topic of team brianstorming that ends up with a retrospective.
I also got new insights from other stand, I discussed with game designers and I bought a new game : the game that strengthen your neurons which I believe it’s a good sports to prepare the team for an exploratory testing session.
New Certificate
I got my new certificate TMAP ๐ข๐ฟ๐ด๐ฎ๐ป๐ถ๐๐ถ๐ป๐ด ๐๐๐ถ๐น๐ฑ ๐ถ๐ป ๐ค๐๐ฎ๐น๐ถ๐๐ ๐ฎ๐ ๐ฆ๐ฐ๐ฎ๐น๐ฒ after attending 3 days trainings session and passing the exam !
Great content that makes me rediscover many things related to quality engineering and got fresh ideas on how to manage Quality at scale.
The course is full of interactive exercises which allow participants to reflect individially, within a group and across groups in the main room to reflect on our exercices for each chapter.
Grateful for my company for providing us various learning opportunities to accelerate our career growth.
Coming soon, I’ll become a trainer to provide this course for wider audience in France.

Our workshop set up for #EuroStarConf is almost ready, we are excited to make a new workshop version of the #21stSkills4testers with Ard Kramer
๐ค We added new challenges to our story, and we are going to challenge participants how they can make the best use of their softskills in the age of AI !

We had a great session with our special guests Marianne and Eveline my colleagues from Sogeti NL
We introduced the role of quality coach, why it is important to have such a role in agile teams, what are the advantages for teams and organisation and also possible challenges and how to overcome them. We shared also our own experience in that role and Marianne shared a nice story about whole team quality.
Then at the end, we shared tools and ideas on how to make quality coaching efficient.
We are also organizing another version via SogetiLabs in the 24th May.

So excited to discover London for the first time. surprisingly the EuroSTAR train which is super fast in only 1h25 from Lille to London !
I wanted to take a moment and share with you my trip to London and different recommendations :
โถ๏ธ Transport to London : 1h25 using EuroSTAR direct train from Lille to London ST Pancreas International, price 191โฌ
โถ๏ธ Transport inside London : Oyster card it costs 7ยฃ then recharge it and if you reach certain amound depending on the zone (+11ยฃ for example it becomes free during that the rest of that day, donโt forget to checkout everytime you take train or tram)
โถ๏ธ Food : Price could vary from 5ยฃ in restaurants like wasabi (smallest sushi option) to 55ยฃ in a hotel with great view.
I recommend eating in the china town, there are various options, buffet around 15-20ยฃ (Example: Young Cheng, other restaurants : Nandoโs good burgers with unlimited softdrinks, pret ร Manger, ..)
โถ๏ธ Shopping places with good view:
1. Mall O2 in Greenwish, I highly recommend visiting it even without any shopping purpose, incredible building with great areas
2. Oxford Street, Piccadilly Circus

A funny thing that happened few days before I started my trip, I got a message in Linkedin from Shameem Mahaboob telling me she enjoyed my blogs and asked me to tell her if one day I will visit London, I said well I migh surprise you but I’m coming to London next week. She was so excited and we agreed to meet during my visit to London. Thank you Shameem for your warm welcome and the great time we spent together !
